Last week we were visited by Fran Jeffries, a member of the Bridgewater (MA) Rotary Club (District 7950). She noted that she became a member of Rotary very shortly after the Supreme Court handed down the decision that Rotary International needed to admit women into its membership. Fran is a Rotary Peace Fellow and is chair of her District's Peace Building Within Committee, and she spoke about RI's Day of Peace celebration on September 21. She encouraged our Club to plan an event to tie in with this Day of Peace.
