Our speaker on December 8th was Steven Valenti whose local business Steven Valenti’s Clothing for Men has been on North St for 39 years. Steve imparted multiple pieces of wisdom to the group from his Boy Scout leadership days and his love of pizza. Steven Valenti’s now offers women’s clothing along with his traditional men’s clothing and tux rentals. He gave us the good news that he is buying the building that houses his business, his son Evan will be taking over the management of the business and that this June he will celebrate 40 years in business. Steven Valenti’s still uses handwritten receipts and numbers their customers so he was able to record that they recently served the 250,000th customer. Please support a great local business!
