Sculling and Crossbones Auction chair Robert Harrison provided an auction planning update at last week's meeting that highlighted the following important points:
- The goal this year is to have items in by end of February. That's last week!! People have brought many items in but if you committed to an item be sure to be turning those items in!
- The catalog is going to print!! Please turn in your ads and items!!
- Each member should have as a personal goal increasing the number of items they solicit. We need more stuff
- Turn your forms in for updates to items changed or no longer available.
- We can't send thank you notes to donors if there are no addresses in the database. Make sure your forms have donor contact information.
- We want to increase the audience size, so do your best to invite friends, family and co-workers.
- We are engaging a media company to assit in getting the word out.
