We will be partnering with the Gladys Allen Brigham Center on Friday January 14th to participate in a "Gratitude Line" coordinated by 18 Degrees. We have chosen Allendale Elementary school. More details and a sign-up sheet will follow but here is the initial details:
Friday January 14th is a half day for students and whole day for staff, and showing our gratitude for public service is the perfect kick-off to the Martin Luther King Jr weekend. On that day, we would like to organize staff gratitude lines at each school at the end of the day (3:30 for elementary and 2:20 for middle and high schools). We will also make sure to recognize the bus operators, administration, adult learning center, Eagle Academy, and online learning center staff, and we’re figuring out the best way to reach those PPS employees. All told, we estimate there are 1200 staff working in the schools in different capacities.
