Representatives of local food banks and meal programs joined us last week for grant presentations. Each organization received $1,000 in support of their work in the community.Jay Bailly introduced and presented the awards to each group.
Organizations receiving support from Rotary were: Berkshire Dream Center – Joseph Rhoades, First Baptist Church – Nancy & John Ostresh, First United Methodist Church –Alice Rose and Ann Mottley, Saint Agnes’s Church Food Pantry – Rick & Henry Trudell, Saint Mark’s Food Pantry- Father Chris, Saint Stephen’s Table – Nicole & Chris Plankey, Salvation Army – Captain Justin Barter.
