LOCAL PROJECTS AND SUPPORT

Our Club works very hard to secure funding from members and the community and Club members volunteer significant amounts of time to support many important local, regional, and national projects.
Some select sample activities that have been supported currently or in the recent past have included the following:

Food Drive
Each Fall, our Club annually works to raise funds and food for our local food pantries. Activities typically include the following:
1. Solicitating cash and food dontations over four Saturdays in October/November from the general public;
2. Collecting fines from members at weekly Club meetings to go directly to our Food Drive;
3. Placing bins at local businesses for the collection of food; and
4. Placing bins at local schools for the collection of food.
In addition, donations and support have also been expanded to the Spring in the last several years when pantries have had additional needs.
