It's that time of year again, where are esteemed Rotarians Jay and Shaun are reaching out to all of us to assist with the Pittsfield Rotary's Annual Food Drive. If you have not done so already, please see either gentlemen to sign up to help during the slots allotted.
Anthony T. Wimperis, from Lee MA, is the Partner of Tax and Business Advisory Services at Adelson and Company PC. He looks to join the club under the classification of Business Services-Taxes. Proposed by Carol Leibinger-Healey.
Alfred J. Enchill, from Pittsfield MA, is the Executive Director at the Berkshire Black Economic Council. He looks to join the club under the classification of Associations- Economic Council. Proposed by Carol Leibinger-Healey.
Guests of Honor: Yash Patel from THS joined us last week. He is a senior at THS who is a very ambitious student is involved in various activities including but not limited to track, student council, link crew, participated in the Harvard Research Program, and would love to attend Umass Amherst. Effie Wax did not join us last week. She is a senior from PHS and an avid gymnast. She plans on attending a 4 year college on a pre-med track. We wish these 2 all of the best on their future endeavors and look forward to welcoming our November Student Rotarians.
Member Minute: Eva Sereghy gave us a little glimpse into her world. She is no stranger to Rotary being a full time Rotarian since 2012. Her husband Andy is from Virginia and was a successful lawyer and high school math teacher. She met her husband in Greece. They have been married for 46 years. They have 2 adult daughters and grandchildren who reside in NYC. Her hobbies include the Berkshire International Club, Concert Choir, and various book clubs.
Exchange Student Update: David is having the time of his life in Thailand and we look forward towards future updates to come!
