This week John O'Brien and Dave Hall presented the Rotary scholarships to some very deserving students of PHS and Taconic HS. These awards honor the donating families and there are three: Our very own Jeff Whitehouse, Ted Nash and Lynn Lyon. What a great cause and a tribute to our local philanthropy efforts.
Vin Marinaro will be the District Governor for the upcoming Rotary year (July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025), and to mark the occasion, the district is having an installation brunch for Vin on Sunday, June 23, at the Pittsfield Country Club. The Club's award-winning Josh Billings team is seeking a replacement canoeist. Must be reasonably fit, a strong swimmer, and willing to suffer abuse from the more seasoned team-mate.
