Cannabis in the Berkshires
Meg Sanders is the CEO and co-founder of Canna Provisions, an employee owned company. Since launching in 2019, Canna Provisions has become a marquee destination for cannabis enthusiasts and tourists across the Northeast, earning more “Best Dispensary in Massachusetts” honors than any other and consistently ranking among the top cannabis businesses in the state.
With over 17 years of cannabis industry experience, Meg is a recognized pioneer in cultivation, consumer sales, and operational strategy.
Meg’s impact on the industry goes far beyond business. In 2023, she led Canna Provisions to be unanimously named Corporate Citizen of the Year by the Lee, MA Chamber of Commerce—the first cannabis company in the Chamber’s 100-year history to receive the honor. She was also voted Cannabis Business Leader of the Year at the 2023 NECANN Community Awards.
A dedicated advocate for local economic development and social equity, Meg works closely with regional organizations including the Lee Chamber of Commerce, and numerous grassroots nonprofits. She serves as a mentor for EforAll, is a member Lion’s International and Holyoke Rotary. Meg also serves on the board of Holyoke Chamber of Commerce.
