Yuge Day for Rotary

President Alex Reczkowski rung the meeting to order followed by a group sing of God Bless America at the suggestion of Gwen Davis. The President awarded pins to all Rotarians present, additional pins were presented to Club executives, while this year's fine masters were decorated with sheriff badges. Immediate Past President John Murphy was presented with a gift and banner from President Alex, not to be outdone, IPP Murphy passed the gavel to the new President by way of a brand new gavel! Part of IPP Murphy's kind gesture was no doubt guilt ridden, as he was replacing the gavel destroyed early in his presidency by his extra zealous call to attention. District Governor Elect Vin Marinaro poses with a new portable banner display proclaiming the office he will soon occupy.
The new President, standing with the theme banner of the year "Imagine Rotary" briefly detailed his objectives for his term in office. President Reczkowski plans to focus on bringing new members to the Club, add additional fun / social events and engage in more service activities, particularly on 5th Thursday meetings. The President promised more details of the year ahead in coming weeks.

Notes & Asides
Reminder! Fine Fines: Please be extra generous this week, all fines and a Board approved match will be donated to the family of Carter LaCasse a brave young man suffering from leukemia.

Reminder! Dirt Wanted: As you may recall, we found there is indeed a leaker at Sparks Tower. Due to thus security concern, access to Sparks Tower is limited to credentialed individuals only, therefore you can't drop by 10th floor (Fines Division) with dirt on your fellow Rotarians. Just because we won't see you at the office doesn't mean we don't want the dirt! Spies of all kinds are encouraged to send dirt, inuendo, vicious packs of truth and all of life's great celebrations to Janet or Jim via email or social media message. While we can't always promise a quid-pro-quo, the Sargant at Arms handbook instructs us to be very kind to those that tattle. Text or message us your dirt!

Birthdays & Anniversaries

No birthdays or Club anniversaries to celebrate this week - Fines will have to be sourced elsewhere, rather an outrage for this special week of fine collecting.
Club Lottery
No winner last week, we are finally getting at least a little action in the poll which stands at $156. Let it roll!
