There will be NO JULY 17 MEETING---Third Thursday--July 24th will be the next meeting.

 

Prez Erik's first meeting as our new leader and done efficiently and well. Kelly Marion had the member minute. She's the senior executive at Girls Inc and has 4 boys and a giant dog. I hope, for her sake, the dog is female!

 

The club will be issuing a formal process guidline for nomination and processing of new members. Keep this in mind with our push for new blood. 

 

Very interesting guest speaker--Dashine Moore, founder of Beat the Streets. Another worthwile community effort for at risk children.

 

We heard from our 2 exchange students who will be off shortly to a wonderful life experience. David Bernal is headed to Thailand and Clair Meignan is destined for Leipzig, Germany.

 

 

The treasurer's report shows our club solidly in the black.

Club dues invoices have been sent and are due AUGUST 5th--lets get those dues paid! If you haven't received your invoice, please let Jeff know.

The Club Auction date has been confirmed as April 4th at Berkshire Hills Country Club. Jim Bronson is the esteemed project leader.

With 36 cards left in Mr. Perreault's pocket, Jay Marion found the 2 of Diamonds! A huge pot of $513 for which Jay was promptly fined. We start over again next week. I'll probably win with $0.36 in the pot!
