Guests of Honor: Gail Molari has welcomed us with her presence along with her lovely daughter, Susan. Mr. Lafleche has decided to grace us with his presence after a short leave of absence. Our Rotarian Magician, Eric Schafer, was accompanied by his lovely wife Sharon. We also had our student Rotarians for the month of October joining us weekly! Yash Patel from THS joined us last week and told us a little bit about himself. He is a senior at THS who is a very ambitious student is involved in various activities including but not limited to track, student council, link crew, participated in the Harvard Research Program, and would love to attend Umass Amherst. Effie Wax did not join us this week. She is a senior from PHS and an avid gymnast. She plans on attending a 4 year college on a pre-med track. We look forward to getting to know these two a little more during their remaining tenure in the month of October.

 

Member Minute:  Eric Schafer gave us a little insight into his world during the weekly board member minute. Originally from Newark, NJ, served in the airforce, retired from the Ac business, moved to the Berkshires 29 years ago, has 2 grandsons - Body 11 & Finn 9, celebrates 2 anniversaries at the same time - being a Rotarian as well as being married to his lovely wife Sharon, which he will be taking away on their yearly hibernation trip to Puerto Rico. 

 

Exchange Student Update: David is having the time of his life in Thailand and we look forward towards future updates to come!

 

 

Club Treasurer Jeff Hassett reports that we still have an EVEN smaller stack of unpaid dues than last week, note there are several Rotarians with unpaid annual dues bills piling up on the kitchen table. If you haven't yet, please send in your 2025-2026 Club dues payment or contact Jeff for more information. Many thanks! As of this writing, we are awaiting on a couple of straggler payments to come in and then we did it!

Please make sure if you are to be absent from your assigned invocation date that you secure a replacement or let President Eric know of your absence.
