Here's your opportunity to sign up to deliver Christmas Eve meals to the elderly and shut-ins on Saturday, December 24, around 10:30 a.m.   Civitan will  be delivering a turkey dinner to about 140 people this year.

You'll pick up your meals and an assigned route at The Christian Center.  We'll be following COVID-safe protocols similar to what we did last year with the difference that more than ten people will be allowed inside The Christian Center.   Volunteers will receive the details and the exact arrival time in a few weeks.  

Two people will be in each car.  You can volunteer as a two-some, or we will put you into two-person teams.   If you'd prefer to go alone, just let me know.  If you're bringing family and friend volunteers, let me know how many people are coming and how many cars for which you want to be responsible.  

If you are volunteering as a prep person at The Christian Center earlier in the morning, please volunteer separately for also being a delivery person.  Janet will put out a separate email asking for meal prep volunteers.

To volunteer, just send me a reply email in the next few days.  Delivering meals is an opportunity to share your Christmas with others.  It's also a lot of fun.
