At last weeks meeting, a list of past sponsors was passed around to have members commit to contacting the businesses.  If you didn't attend and are willing to solicite please contact Greg Knights or Alex.   The forms for sponsors and players were also distributed and are available on the Club’s website.  Joan DeMartino is signing up volunteers for the event which will be here before we know it on September 28th.

We had a great group of guests this week a with Gail Molari bringing Nick Kirchner, CFO of Molari, Vin Marinaro bringing Stacy Hebb of Nocher Real Estate and Mark Busch bringing his son Jason Busch.

 

The Rotary International Youth Exchange program is back up and running, so if you have any potential students who you would propose to travel or if you would like to be a host family, please let Alex know.

 

Joan updated us on Carter LaCasse and we were happy to hear he continues to improve and be cancer free.  She presented the family our check at their home last week and she read a very moving note of appreciation for our generosity from the family.  

 

If anyone wants to suggest a Senior at PHS or Taconic to be a Student of the Month for this coming year, please let Joan DeMartino know as soon as possible.

 

 

Reminder! Dirt Wanted: As you may recall, we found there is indeed a leaker at Sparks Tower. Due to thus security concern, access to Sparks Tower is limited to credentialed individuals only, therefore you can't drop by 10th floor (Fines Division) with dirt on your fellow Rotarians. Just because we won't see you at the office doesn't mean we don't want the dirt! Spies of all kinds are encouraged to send dirt, inuendo, vicious packs of truth and all of life's great celebrations to Janet or Jim via email or social media message. While we can't always promise a quid-pro-quo, the Sargant at Arms handbook instructs us to be very kind to those that tattle. Text or message us your dirt!

As of August 11th, 33 of 47 members have paid their dues.  Let's get the other 14 in soon!!

2022-23 dues bills have been sent out to membership via email. Invoices include pre-paying for 44 lunches. If you want a revised invoice that excludes meals, or you want a paper invoice, please contact Jeff Hassett.

This week we celebrate the birthdays of Don Kuczarski on August 12th, Gwen Davis on August 29th, Dick Laureyns on August 30th and Jim Bronson on August 31st. No club anniversaries this week. .  

We added $29 dollars and, our esteemed leader Alex wasn't able to find the 2 of clubs, so we're up to $249 and 42 cards.  Don't stop believing.
