Guests of Honor: AJ Enchill from BBEC has joined us. Be on the lookout for his potential future membership! We also had our student Rotarians for the month of October joining us weekly! Yash Patel from PHS joined us last week and told us a little bit about himself. He is a senior at PHS who is a very ambitious student is involved in various activities including but not limited to track, student council, link crew, participated in the Harvard Research Program, and would love to attend Umass Amherst. Effie Wax from THS couldn't join us last week and we look forward to getting to know her during the remaining of the month of October. Member Minute: Alex Reczkowski honored us all with a member minute as he completed his invocation duties and updated us on how all is going with him and the library. Alex is the local Library Director. All goes well at the friendly abode as Alex recently returned from Budapest, where he celebrated his B-day. Happy Belated to you Alex and many, many more! Food for Thought: Jay and Shaun will present the annual appeal for the food drive on October 23rd. Please note, the Board has approved a match to all fines collected that day. Recently, the Board unanimously approved the change in name of the annual service above self award to, The Vin Marinaro Service Above Self Award! The award's namesake is a nearly 30 year member of Rotary and just concluded a very successful term as District Governor. Congrats Governor Vin!
Club Treasurer Jeff Hassett reports that we still have an EVEN smaller stack of than last week, note there are several Rotarians with unpaid annual dues bills piling up on the kitchen table.
