Guests of Honor: Anthony (Tony) Wimperis from Adelson has joined us. Be on the lookout for his potential future membership! We also had our student Rotarians for the month of October joining us weekly! Yash Patel from THS joined us last week and told us a little bit about himself. He is a senior at THS who is a very ambitious student is involved in various activities including but not limited to track, student council, link crew, participated in the Harvard Research Program, and would love to attend Umass Amherst. Effie Wax joined us this week. She is a senior from PHS and an avid gymnast. She plans on attending a 4 year college on a pre-med track. We look forward to getting to know these two a little more during their remaining tenure in the month of October. Member Minute: Amy McNally graciously stepped in this week to present the board member minute. Amy received an award for outstanding performance as part of the supervisor training program. Congrats and well-deserved Amy! Food for Thought: Jay and Shaun will present the annual appeal for the food drive on October 23rd. Please note, the Board has approved a match to all fines collected that day. Please tattle on yourself if the Ministry of Finance doesn't have the receipts of your recent misdeeds! Club Treasurer Jeff Hassett reports that we still have an EVEN smaller stack of unpaid dues than last week, note there are several Rotarians with unpaid annual dues bills piling up on the kitchen table.
