Saturday night hosted our annual Paul Harris dinner formal at the Pittsfield Country Club.  Many guests attended in formal attire---we clean up well! It was a great night of fellowship and celebration and the club awarded Jeff Hassett with the Paul Harris medal. Jeff has been a reliable and trusted treasurer for many years and continues to keep our bills paid and our pens in ink! He is also the fine collector who is always standing behind your shoulder when our fine MC mentions your name--be prepared!

Jeff's family was in attendance to help us all celebrate. Needless to say, he was roasted in fine fashion by the dinner organizer John O'Brien---well done!

May 25th will mark the nomination of club officers for the 2023-2024 session. John Hudnal will be our new president but he is seeking a nomination for the important VP slot. We have lots of capable members out there---lets show our colors and back John up.

The Berkshire United Way will be awarding President Alex with the prestigious Helping Hands, Caring Hearts award on Tuesday May 16th. Make sure everyone offers our dedicated president a heartfelt congratulations. I can't think of a more deserving recipient!

Alan Paul, the Artistic Director  of Barrington Stage was a most interesting speaker. We are all getting a dose of the arts from our past few speakers!
