The July 25th meeting opened with member minutes and and invocation by Dr. Ben. Feed my Sheep happens on Tuesday 5/30. The District Golf Tourney is rescheduled to October 21st. We have a call out for Club Service Projects---we need your ideas!
DG Vin's opening remarks
Our speaker today was our very own District Governor Vin Marinaro
Needless to say how proud we are to have Vin representing our club in such a prestigious role.
Vin opened wanting to hear our Rotary stories--why are we Rotarians and what has been inspirational for us and our memorable accomplishments.
His message to us, and each club in our district, had 3 key take-aways
1. Inspiration--we need to spread this Rotary emotion
2. Net 2--a new member drive for each Rotarian to bring in 2 new members
3. DEI--Diversity, Equity and Inclusion---this is the basic tenant for Rotary and matches our values inherently.
