Kicking off the annual fund raising campaign, Rotary Club of Pittsfield Foundation president Mike Hinkley indicated it was his goal the 100% of the membership will contribute this year.  With the growth the Foundation has experienced over the past 20 years, it now is in a position to contribute $25-30,000 in earnings each year back into the community.  Members should be proud of the community impact RCPF makes through large capital fund projects, the annual Kagan Award, the Nash, Lyon, Paul Harris and Gene Case Scholarships, and the sustaining funds of Literacy, Boundless Playground and Advanced Placement.  Your contribution to this annual appeal will help the Foundation and Club continue to have a positive impact on our community.

Last week president Kelly congratulated Greg Knight and the 2016 Rotary Golf Tournament committee for another successful tournament that raised funds for local food pantries.

The following schedule of Club members has been created to rotate caretaking responsibilities among the membership. The date listed is the Thursday of the week assigned.  We ask that sometime during the week assigned, from the prior Sunday to the following Saturday, that the assigned Rotarian visit the Rotary book house (at the Boundless Playground), to clean out any trash, neaten the inventory, and determine whether additional books need to be acquired.
