Ellen Lahr of EGLahr PR & Media spoke to the Club last week about managing a public relations crisis. Her firm develops public relations strategies to help define your message, support your business strategy, and tell your story to your unique audiences with internal and external messaging and branding, media relations, email marketing, website development and executive messaging. Using plenty of news maker anecdotes and examples that turned out both good and bad for a variety of businesses, Ellen explained what a business like hers can do to tell your stories, in your voice.
At our last meeting Ralph Cianflone reported that the Thanksgiving Angels initiative, a collaboration of Pittsfield Food Pantries and Faith Communities to provide Turkeys and Fixings to local families, had met their goal of $5,000, which he indicated would feed 1,500 families. Ralph Cianflone and Marsh Raser, who both spearheaded the campaign for the Club, thanked the membership for their generosity.
Because of a shipment delay delivery to the schools has been postponed to the week of December 14-18. Thank you to the 23 Rotarians who volunteered to deliver the dictionaries to the children. If you are unable to make the switch to the same time the following week, contact Ron Latham.

Preliminary results are back from the auction with $11,000 in donations $1000 raised from te games, $4800 from, ads gross profit is around $65,000 Thanks go out to all that helped the night of the auction as well as those who solicited all the great items
