Rick LaFleche gave the foundation's annual report as of June 30, 2021 with the details of each fund.  The overall summary follows:

Joan DeMartino gave us the details of a 10,000 donation from the foundation bricks and mortar fund to a program that allows Pittsfield Public School students take college classes and receive college credits through both BCC and MCLA.  This allowed the program to receive a grant and the aim was for this to be low or no cost for the students.   The program is currently open to seniors but they are hoping to expand to juniors also.  The pandemic affected participation so any funds unused in spring 2021 will be used in the fall of 2021.

President Murphy will be rescheduling the previously announced 09/30/2021 visit by the District Governor to another date as there are several factors that make that date not optimal.

Jeff Hassett has sent all dues bills via email.  If you want a paper copy just let him know.  Also, if you would like an invoice that includes pre-paying for 44 lunches, please let Jeff know and he will send you a revised invoice.

At the last Board meeting it was voted to restore the Club's attendance requirement. Members will recall that as a result of the Covid pandemic the attendance requirement had been set aside. Additionally, the Board voted on several benevolence requests as well as making a $10,000 transfer to Rotary Club of Pittsfield Foundation.

We're back to live meeting at Mazzeo's. Please RSVP your intent to Joan DiMartino (joan.dimartino@gd-ms.com) by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday so she may give Mazzeo's a head count.
