2015 Service Above Self Awards
The 2015 Service Above Self awards were presented to the following students whose volunteer efforts and selfless commitments have shown that they exhibit the character true to the Rotarian mission.  The award winners also receive a $100 award to be given to the charity of their choice.

November Students
Marlaina Tremblay from Taconic High School takes multiple AP and Honors courses while participating in the National Honor society, working at Teo’s, and volunteering at Berkshire Youth United. She also runs Cross Country, is a member of the class council and the robotics team and will be attending Fitchburg State University next year.
Dylan Northrup from Pittsfield High School is an accomplished vocational student in the Horticulture CTE program where he is President of the Skills USA Program.  His is varsity track and cross country and volunteers at St Joseph’s Church and Camp Russell.  He plans to continue in landscape design or architecture and is apply to UMass Amherst and Vermont Technical College.
Andrew Cella from St Joseph High School is caption of both the varsity hockey and golf teams.  He takes multiple honors courses and volunteers at youth camps such as Sticks for Kids and the Bradley Benson Golf Academy.  He plans on applying to Union College, Providence College, Trinity College and UMass Amherst.

Auction Update

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE get your Auction items in!  We still have a lot of items that are “Status Unknown” – please talk to your contacts and send Carol, Gail and Joan  your updates.  If anyone has items please drop them off at MOLARI any weekday from 8:00 – 4:30, or by appointment for other hours.  If you need items to be picked up please contact  Joan, Carol or Gail.  If you need help, forms, etc. please let  Joan, Gail or Carol know.

Food Drive Update
The first week of the food drive netted $615 and 500 lbs of food. The second week netted $748 and 800 lbs of food. Week three netted $330 and 600 lbs of food.
